Our emotions tend to work as a compass that lead us in the right direction.
Whatever we feel, has a purpose and it’s valid.
Even if in the moment they come to pass, this purpose is invisible to us.
Sometimes the message is clear. A ping of guilt after a moment of anger, a wave of sadness when something is lost.
But at times the message is hidden behind the walls and defences we put up and the way we learn to deal with them. Anger masking as insecurity. Numbness masking as grief. Loneliness masking as love.

Knowing how to distinguish the clear messages from the hidden ones is essential to live in alignment with our conscience and to find inner peace.
Being able to allow ourselves to experience our emotions fully and carefully analyse them is crucial to truly understand them.
Even the ones that make us feel uncomfortable or uneasy exist for a reason. Finding this reason can allow us to decide which emotions we want to keep and which we want to let go.
Emotions tend to be in intertwined with our decision making process, when we truly find their voice and take time to listen, they will indicate the path we should take to move forwards.
